Not for use in Ireland (Extra Cost) / Bulbs not very powerful February 20, 2010

1. As I am from Ireland the household electricity is different than the us. To use the bulbs I had to get a lamp converted to american electrical specifications and a get a voltage adapter to use it in an Irish socket (an extra 70 Euro in total). If the company doesn't have bulbs that will work in Ireland, they shouldn't ship it to an Irish address.
2. The bulbs are not very powerful and cover a small area aproximately 7 inchs diameter at maximum recommended distance. Each bulb is recommended to be used 15 mins daily. To treat my back, shoulders, upper arms, chest, neck, and face, 7 inchs at a time with each bulb using one converted lamp takes 11 hours daily as follows...

Number of 7 inch areas on my body to be treated is 22(approx for proper coverage).
Each area is to be treated with 2 bulbs.
Total time is 22 multiplied by 2 multiplied by 15 mins is 660 mins equals 11 hours daily for a month.

I cannot comment on effectiveness as I cannot complete this treatment for 11 hours daily.
I would have been better off getting a more expensive product with better coverage as I have spent approximately 128 Euro (174 USD).
Summary
Poor product ( Not very bright unlike what was advertised, covers small area ).
Poor company ( Shipping to an a country where the product does not work and would be dangerous if tried).
There are better products out there, even if you had to spend 100 or 200 dollars more it would be worth it.
As this product is unsuitable for myself I will be purchasing a better one when funds are available..
